20 March 2021 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) through Career Guidance Unit of Student Affairs in collaboration with Centre for Communication, Teaching & Learning organised a Career Forum on Good Leaders Inspire, Creative Leaders Transform. The event took place at the University’s Lecture Theatre 2, Library Complex.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB.
The Forum was divided into two sessions with discussion topics namely “The Transformative Journey.. What’s Next” and “Exploring Diverse Pathways: Your Success Stories”.
Six prominent panelists contributed at the forum including Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Haji Hamdillah bin Haji Abdul Wahab, former Deputy Minister of Ministry of Industry and Primary Resources, former Managing Director of Brunei LNG and President of Brunei Japan Friendship and Association (BJFA); Yang Mulia Dato Paduka Haji Jemat bin Haji Ampal, former Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports, former Director of Internal Security Department, and former Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Brunei Darussalam to the United Nations; as well as representatives from LKA Konsult Sdn Bhd, TCM Delphi Sdn Bhd and KaMaLoKo Entertainment Group respectively.
About seventy students and staff of the university attended the forum. The inspirational speakers shared their invaluable insights and experiences with the audiences. The sessions concluded with question and answer sessions.
