27 September 2019 – Nearly 100 students were involved in a cleaning campaign named UTBersih, the initiative was co-organised by the UTB Student Representative Council 2019/2020 and Campus LEAD 2019/2020, and supported by the Student Affairs Office. The campaign was held at the University campus.
Twenty-two bags of waste were collected and sorted out in categories namely plastics and tins, to be recycled and sent to recycling area at Kg. Tanjung Nangka.
This initiative aims to create the awareness on the importance of ensuring cleanliness of the University as well as to instill the habit of cleanliness among the people at the University.
