30 April 2019 – UTB received a courtesy call from His Excellency Jaroslav Chlebo, the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic who is currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The courtesy call was held at the Amber Room of the University.
His Excellency Jaroslav Chlebo was accompanied by Ms. Barbora Grexa, the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Nuara Group, a Slovakian citizen currently based in the country.
The delegations met with Yang Mulia Awang Hj Ady Syarmin bin Hj Md Taib, Acting Vice-Chancellor of UTB; Yang Mulia Dr. Au Thien Wan, the Dean of School of Computing and Informatics (SCI); and Yang Mulia Dayang Siti Asmahlati Bolkini binti Haji A. Ahmad, Director of International and Public Relations Office.
During the courtesy call, both sides exchanged thoughts and views on potential areas of collaborations between the University and Slovakia in general in the areas of Computing and Engineering.
