23 November 2019 – About 58 students from Year 9 to Year 11 and teachers from Muda Hashim Tutong Secondary School (SMMHT) visited UTB for an educational visit. The delegation was welcomed by the Faculty of Engineering (FEng).
The visit began with an introductory presentation of the University followed by an overview of FEng which was presented by Head of Engineering Labs, Awang Md Hairol bin Hj Md Ali at the Lecture Theatre 2, Library Complex, UTB. The students were given tour to the Hydraulics Lab, Electrical Principles Lab, Thermodynamics Lab, and Petro-Chemical Lab which was led by respective programme area representatives.
The aim of the visit is to intensify students’ knowledge and understanding of engineering programmes as well as to provide the students with information on university’s development, programmes offered at the University and its requirement to enter UTB.
