21 August 2019 – The University of New South Wales (UNSW) and UTB inked Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) at the Main Conference Hall of the University.
The MoA is a continuous partnership between the two universities to provide articulation pathway for UTB students from Petroleum Engineering programme area in providing advanced standing in UNSW’s Petroleum Engineering Degree programme.
Signing on behalf of UNSW, was Professor Ismet Canbulat, Head of Schools of Minerals and Energy, Resources Engineering and on behalf of UTB, the MoA was signed by Yang Mulia Awang Haji Ady Syarmin bin Hj Md Taib, Acting Vice-Chancellor.
Also in attendance were the delegates from UNSW and Principal Officers of UTB. Both universities also discussed the ways of developing and strengthening academic cooperation particularly in the area of research and Petroleum Engineering.
