13th February 2019 – A total of fifteen Pertubuhan Ukur Jurutera & Arkitek-Universiti Teknologi Brunei (PUJA-UTB) Student Chapter members were involved as volunteers for the Joint ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer Coordinating Committee (ACPE-CC) and ASEAN Architect Council (AAC) Roundtable hosted by Brunei Darussalam Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Quantity Surveyors (BAPEQS) which was held at Indera Samudera Hall, Empire Hotel and Country Club, Jerudong.
Also on the same day, the students volunteered for the 92nd ASEAN Coordinating Committee on Services (CCS) (Architect, Professional’s Engineers & Surveyors) Mobility Business Networking hosted by PUJA (Brunei) at the Horizon Restaurant, Bandar Seri Begawan which took place in the afternoon.
Present were The Honorable Dato Seri Setia Ir. Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development and The Honorable Siti Rozaimeriyanty binti Dato Seri Laila Jasa Haji Abdul Rahman, the PUJA (Brunei) President.
Through volunteering, PUJA-UTB Student Chapter members were exposed to professionals from the industries, both local and international. It also provides opportunity for the members to establish professional networks and attain valuable knowledge from these professionals.
