Today, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh at the Main Conference Room of the University.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by the signing of the MoU. Signing on behalf of UTB was Yang Mulia Awang Haji Ady Syarmin bin Haji Md Taib, Acting Vice-Chancellor of UTB, while DUET was represented by Professor Dr. Md. Khasro Miah. The MOU was signed in the presence of His Excellency Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Mahmud Hussain, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Brunei Darussalam.
Under this MOU, UTB and DUET will work together on Undergraduate and Postgraduate students and academics exchange; joint research, conferences and seminars; student supervisions; and share tactical expertise between the two institutions.
Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology is a leading university in Bangladesh in the arena of Engineering and Technology. The university offers various engineering programmes for undergraduate and postgraduates.
UTB continues to work with its stakeholders from the industry and higher education institutions both locally and internationally, to enhance the educational experience of its students and provide solutions to contemporary issues facing the industry and society through translational research.
