22 November 2018 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) commemorated Maulidur Rasul with a religious talk held at the Lecture Theatre 2, Library Complex in UTB. The Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Yang Mulia Awang Haji Ady Syarmin bin Haji Md Taib, Acting Vice-Chancellor of UTB. Also in attendance were the University’s Principal Officers, lecturers, and staff of UTB.
The ceremony began with the recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah, and Selawat led by Yang Mulia Ustaz Mohd Fazalley bin Haji Hidup, Head of Religious Unit, UTB. It was then followed by the religious talk entitled ‘Tarbiah Rasulullah Membawa Rahmat Dalam Keluarga’ delivered by Yang Mulia Ustaz Pengiran Haji Reduan bin Pengiran Haji Badaruddin, invited speaker from the Ministry of Religious Affairs. At the same ceremony, the Guest of Honour also presented certifates to students who participated in the ‘Muazzin, Doa and Tilawah’.
