UTB Students Joins SAKAI-ASEAN Week

In conjunction with the Sakai ASEAN Week from 6 – 17 October this year, the Sakai Government of Japan invited Science and Technology students to interact with residents, students, and businesses in Sakai, Japan. With the cooperation from Osaka Prefecture University (OPU), two students from Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) have been invited to attend the event to promote the exchange of projects and collaboration. The students are Dk Siti Nur Khadhijah binti Pg Hj Ali Kumar from the BSc (Hons) in Computer and Network Security, and Siti Nur Asyiqin binti Md Shahrin from the BSc (Hons) in Internet Computing.

At the opening ceremony of the Sakai ASEAN Week, the UTB students will introduce Brunei’s culture to other fellow students from ASEAN countries. There will also be a symposium about global education in ASEAN where our students will be sharing their education experience with the students from the ASEAN Universities, and Sakai OPU. Interaction with the OPU students and visits to companies in the city will also be arranged.
