24 April 2021 – About 100 staff and students of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) attended the Sungkai Se-UTB which took place at the UTB Common Engineering Block Building, Phase 3, UTB.
The breaking of the fast was organised by UTB Student Representative Council (MPPUTB) which aimed to welcome the month of Ramadan by fostering ties between staff and students of the university.
The event began with the mass recitation of Surah Yaasiin and Tahlil Arwah led by Yang Mulia Ustaz Md Fazalley bin Hj Hidup, Head of Religious Unit followed by a light iftar and mass Maghrib prayer then continued with dinner. Mass ‘Isya prayer along with Tarawih and Witr prayer were also performed at the event.
