8 April 2021 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) received a courtesy call from the Embassy of the United States of America today at the University’s Visitor Room.
Upon arrival, the embassy was welcomed by Yang Mulia Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB. Representing the embassy was Yang Mulia Mr Jeff Barrus, The Public Affairs Officer.
The delegation also met with Yang Mulia Dr Dayang Hajah Noor Maya binti Hj Md Salleh, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic); Yang Mulia Awang Hj Ady Syarmin bin Hj Md Taib, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry & Services); and Yang Mulia Dayang Hajah Siti Asmahlati Bolkini binti Haji A. Ahmad, Director of International and Public Relations Office.
During the courtesy call, both sides exchanged thoughts and views on potential areas of collaborations between the University and the United States particularly in the field of education.
