4 April 2021 – The Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) men’s track and field team has made the university proud by winning first place in the 4×100-meter relay at the Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPUSB) Annual Sports Event 2021.
UTB was invited to compete under the Higher Education Institution category where UTB won first place. Representing UTB were undergraduate students from Faculty of Engineering, UTB School of Business and School of Design.
The runners; Awang Muhammad Zamri bin Juppry, Awang Muhammad Al Hadi bin Haji Abd Jamal, Awang Ahmad Syauqi bin Haji Mohammad Rozaini and Awang Muhammad Arif Firdaus bin Hussin stunned the spectators by clocking fourty-eight seconds at the finishing line.
The event concluded with a prize presentation ceremony presented by Dr. Haji Adanan bin Haji Basar, Ra’es of KUPUSB to the winners of KUPUSB Annual Sports event that took place at the Royal Brunei Air Force Sports Complex.
