22 July 2020 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) received a courtesy visit from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Vladimir Borisovich Goncharenko. The courtesy call was held at the university’s Visitors Room.
His Excellency was welcomed by the Vice-Chancellor of UTB, Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman. Also present were Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry & Services), Yang Mulia Awang Hj Ady Syarmin bin Hj Md Taib; Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Office, Yang Mulia Dr Au Thien Wan; and Dean of UTB School of Business, Yang Mulia Dr Haji Saleem bin Haji Nazmudeen.
The courtesy visit discussed ways to further strengthen the bilateral educational cooperation between Brunei and Russia.
