UTB Students leave for Singapore Summer Programme

Two Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) students left for Singapore yesterday to attend the ‘NUS Summer Programme on Economic and Enterprise Development in Singapore’ from 10 to 23 July 2016.

YAM Pengiran Anak Muhammad Abdul Qayyum bin Pengiran Sura Negara Pengiran Anak Hj Muhammad Bey Muntassir, BBus in Technology Management, and Melvin Tan Sze Chee, HND in Mechanical Engineering are joining the two-week programme organized by the National University of Singapore (NUS).

The programme serves as a platform for the delegates to learn about Singapore’s progression of being a destination for international commerce and investment.

Delegates will attend lectures, dialogue sessions with entrepreneurs, make project presentations as well as site visits to business, government organizations, and cultural heritage sites. They will also get to interact with the local students and other delegates from around the world in a multi-cultural and cosmopolitan environment, delegates will get to understand how the public policies are formulated, and gain insights on business practices and entrepreneurship development in Singapore.
