13 April 2019 – A tailored workshop for Faculty Development was conducted for Academic Staff on ‘Formative Assessment’. The workshop that was held at the University campus was facilitated by Yang Mulia Dr. Anil Pathak, Dean of Centre for Communication, Teaching and Learning (CCTL). It was attended by faculty members of all schools and faculties in UTB.
In the workshop, Dr. Pathak explained the components and criteria of Formative Assessment. Participants then reconsidered their module specifications and assessments in the light of guidance provided by Dr. Pathak.
Participants were also involved in activities and discussions to formulate ways in which some of these assessment components could be integrated in their teaching and learning.
