9 February 2019 – Centre for Innovative Engineering (CIE) hosted an I-Talk 2019 at the University. The talk was presented by two speakers from CIE, Yang Mulia Abdul Muizz Bin Hj Kassim and Yang Mulia Md Najibudin Hakiim Bin Hj Md Midun. They presented a topic on Counting Fireflies. According to the presenters fireflies can be counted with the help of computer vision and image processing that are detected through a frame or video. I-Talk stands for Innovative Talk and the purpose of the talk is to promote research culture in UTB.
