26 January 2019– Anak IT, a group that specializes in the field of Information Technology (IT) hosted a seminar on Social Engineering Attack Through Human Interface Device (HID) at Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) campus. The seminar was organised by the School of Computing and Informatics, UTB.
Mohd Zulfadly bin Hj Ismail, Co-Founder of Anak IT, presented about real world occurrences how attackers are leveraging Social Engineering attack through HID in mining confidential and important data. HID is the common channel for human-device interaction that requires no dedicated driver.
The seminar began with an interactive session among the students from UTB and Politeknik Brunei (PB) engaging about the modern Social Engineering.
Anak IT is a non-profit community group created as a centre of learning for the locals to share their knowledge in the IT field. It was founded by a group of like-minded individuals and alumni from UTB in 2010.
