18 November 2017 – A group of 20 young engineers including graduate engineers and undergraduates majoring in Civil Engineering of the Institution of Civil Engineers Hong Kong Association Graduates and Students Division (ICE HKA G&S) visited Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) led by Mr Kelvin S S Chan, Delegation Team Leader and Mr Max TM Ng, the Chairman of the Graduates & Students Division.
The aims of the visit were to exchange ideas, share experiences and knowledge with other engineers from different places and cultures.
The young engineers were welcomed and given an overview of the University by the Director of International and Public Relations Office, Siti Asmahlati Bolkini Bte Hj A. Ahmad. Dr Yap Yok Hoe, Civil Engineering Programme Leader, also gave a brief introduction on Civil Engineering Programme Area.
Later, after discussions, the delegations went for a campus tour to the engineering laboratories and also met some of the academic staffs of the University whilst touring the Campus.
