14 November 2017 - UTB receives a visit from the the Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia and Chemnitz University of Technology (TUC), Germany delegates lead by Associate Professor Dr. Yupiter HP Munurung and Professor Dr. Habil Birgit Awiszus respectively.
A total of 13 delegates joined the visit, six of the total were from the Advanced Manufacturing and Technology Excellence Centre, Universiti Teknologi Mara (AMTEx-UiTM) and the remaining were from the Professorship Virtual Production Engineering, Technological University of Chemnitz (ViF-TUC).
The delegations were welcomed by Professor Dr. Zuruzi Abu Samah, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research); Siti Asmahlati Bolkini binti A. Haji Ahmad, Director of International and Public Relations Office; and other members of staff from the Mechanical Engineering Programme Area.
The purpose of the visit was to discuss and explore possible collaborations between the Universities from three different countries on the area of Mechanical Engineering as well as Research in other fields and others.
