27 JULY 2017 - UTB receives a courtesy visit from the Russian IT Business Mission on 27 July 2017 lead by Professor Andrey Bezrukov, President of the Russian Association of High-Technology Security Export, and Professor at the MGIMO University. The delegations also include Ms Olga Biriukova, CEO of Center for Eurasian Cooperation Development, Mr Maksim Ternovikh, Chief Sales Officer of Sybrus, Mr Oleh Abdurashitov, Head of Public Affairs (Asia Pacific) of Kaspersky Lab, Mr Leonid Panfilov, Chief Product Officer of Getmobit LLC, Mr Kostantin Marchenkob Lawyer from JSC Tronic, Ms Oleg Kozachok, Head of Technical Support Department of ISS,Ms Elena Dubinskaya, Deputy General Director (Commercial Director) of T8 LLC, and Mr Sergei Vykhodtsev, Project Manager of T8 LLC.
The delegations were welcomed by Dr Hajah Noor Maya binti Hj Md Salleh, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Academic); Professor Dr Zuruzi Abu Samah, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research); Hj Ady Sharmin Hj Md Taib, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry & Services); Siti Asmahlati Bolkini binti A. Haji Ahmad, Director of International and Public Relations Office; Dr. Au Thien Wan, Dean of School of Computing and Informatics; and Dr Fahmi Ibrahim, Acting Dean of UTB School of Business.
The purpose of the visit was to explore the business and investment opportunities in the areas of Information Technology, Telecommunications, Cyber Security and Digital Economy with the university.
