AAPBS Case Teaching and Writing Workshop Concludes
An expert-led Case Teaching and Writing workshop co-organised by Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) Case Center and hosted by Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) concluded on Thursday 22 February 2016. The workshop was held at UTB School of Business, Training Room, at the University campus.
The workshop was attended by local faculty members from UTB and UNISSA and international participants, includes faculty members and practitioners from prestigious universities and organisations from China, Malaysia, and Hong Kong.
The two-day workshop employed intensive hands-on approach and provided means of seamlessly blending cases into the curriculum. It also provided means of transforming cases into publications and opportunity for networking amongst the professionals.
The facilitator, Associate Professor Ning Su is an award-winning scholar and educator, and an expert on global outsourcing and innovation strategies. His research focuses on emerging technologies and emerging markets, and involves extensive interviews with top executives from diverse industries, including financial services, consulting, technology, manufacturing, fashion, and design, and across major global markets, such as the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, India, and China. His research has been published in top academic journals such as MIT Sloan Management Review, MIS Quarterly, Decision Sciences, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management.
