UTB Commemorates Maulidur Rasul

Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) commemorated Maulidur Rasul with a religious talk held at the Lecture Theatre 2, Phase 3 in UTB. The Guest of Honour at the ceremony was Professor Dr Hjh Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman, the Vice-Chancellor of UTB. Also in attendance were the University’s Principal Officers, lecturers, staff and students.

The ceremony began with a mass recitation of the Surah Al-Fatihah followed by a religious talk delivered by Ustaz Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak. In his talk entitled `Berakhlaklah dengan akhlak Rasulullah`, the speaker elaborated the benefits and rewards of remembering the prophet (pbuh) through selawat and emulating the sunnah of the perfect and all-encompassing role model. The speaker also described the physical features, demeanours and personality of the beloved prophet (pbuh).
